14. International Congress on the Deterioration and Conservation of Stone

The volumes of the proceedings will be published together with the Mitteldeutscher Verlag (Halle, Germany).  The authors are listed at the start of the paper. They have an abstract and a reference list at the end of each chapter. The main text is a double column format, where the final printed page size is A4. The volume will be published in color.

The maximum length of each contribution is 6 pages in total, which includes figures, tables, references etc.

The publisher prepared a more detailed INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS, which is placed at the call for papers section. However, an example layout for an article is already available, see Winter shelters for marble sculptures of the Schlossbrücke Berlin: climatic constraints”(pdf 0,2MB) by Siegfried Siegesmund, Stephan Pirskawetz, Frank Weise, Rudolf Plagge and York Rieffel.

Please note that in contrast to our previous plannings, the paper needs to have a maximum length of 6 pages. At least about 19000 characters with spaces.

We will have the proceedings ready prior to the conference. To manage everything in time we will have to be very strict, therefore please follow the instructions and the deadlines. The review procedure and the handling will be very time consuming. We highly appreciate your help with this. All papers not meeting the submission deadline, and which have not followed the author instructions, will be not published in the volume of the proceedings.
